Join us in creating beautiful quilts to be donated to Lutheran World Relief.
Making Lutheran World Relief Mission Quilts is a tangible way to express love to our neighbors in need. Quilts can be used as warm bedding, simple tents or floor coverings. Each one reflects God’s loving presence in a world rife with suffering.
We meet every Thursday from 10am – 1pm right at Trinity Lutheran Church in Medina. All are welcome.
Last year we donated 69 quilts!
On October 15, 2024, 19 boxes, containing 74 quilts, were packaged up and taken to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hilton. From there, the quilts will be sent to Rochester, NY, Baltimore, MD, and then to where they are needed in the world.
The Total Quilts sent to Project Comfort, Lutheran World Relief since 2010 is 1,476!!
Since the quilting bees have been ongoing since the beginning of Trinity, 1000’s more have been sent.
What a blessing to those who have received one!
